My mission is to help internal communications professionals amplify their impact.

I create products, courses and coaching offerings that help internal communication professionals overcome challenge and thrive.

My 30-year journey in communications stretches across education, local government, healthcare and global retail. Change has always been an ingredient in my career.

  • I helped operationalize change for more thousands of baristas across the North America when Howard Schultz came back from retirement to reinvent coffee.

  • I helped Premera Blue Cross translate the sweeping and complex changes resulting from the Affordable Care Act for hundreds of employers, brokers and individuals.

  • I've helped a multi-billion dollar health system transform and strengthen its embrace of its mission and values following multiple mergers, acquisitions and downsizing waves.

Here and there I’ve worn the hat of spokesperson and corporate communications manager. I’ve managed crisis communications and executed many public relations campaigns.

But my passion – what fuels my heart and soul – has always been IC. My IC journey inspire all that I create and inspires me to teach continuing education students at the University of Washington. Why? It all comes down to the audiences I serve. 

If you’re lucky, you can see the impact of your work on the faces of the internal audiences you serve. It’s that smile and head nod of understanding that tells you your messages have resonated. I’ve seen this smile many times – on the faces of nurses, baristas, doctors, leaders and others.
